Support
Tap the profile switcher at the top of the Chats screen (or the Profiles tab) and choose a mode. Your chats, contacts and theme change instantly — nothing is mixed between modes.
Make sure Dude has microphone and camera permissions in your device Settings, and that you're on a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. If the problem persists, force-quit the app and try again — or contact us below.
NearMe only shares your location while the feature is on and you've granted permission. You can turn it off at any time, and other users only ever see your approximate position.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in the app. This permanently removes your profiles, messages and media. You can also email us and we'll process the deletion for you.
Check that notifications are enabled for Dude in your device Settings, and that Battery Saver / Low Power Mode isn't restricting background activity. Signing out and back in refreshes your notification registration.
